The rapid development of technological innovations in recent years has dramatically reshaped the way people communicate. This has accelerated the exchange of ideas, but has also produced a climate of confusion and misinformation with stable narrative patterns of communication breaking down. Addressing these issues, this StoryLab symposium explored different forms of narrative as a tool for investigation and interpretation. A range of presentations spanning creative practice, design and social science investigated the full range of the theme ‘interpret’.
